The grapes selected for the blend are carefully chosen from the various partner wineries throughout the Rhône Valley., from the southern-most region: right bank (east of the Pont du Gard), left bank (at the gates of Avignon) to the northern-most region: right bank (Vallée de la Cèze and Sud Ardèche areas), left bank (northern Vaucluse).
Blend of Grenache & Syrah, historie grapes of the Rhône Valley.
Crushing and destemming followed by traditional fermentation in cement and stainless steel vats. Extracting of the marc (pomace) rack-andreturn to favour the romatic components. Maceration on the skins for 2 to 3 weeks at controlled temperatures, no more than 30°C. before final blending. Matured for 6 months in vats with a small part that is oak-aged.
Ruby-red hue. Ripe black and red fruit aromas, quite deep. The palate is fullbodied and generous with soft ripe tanins, harmonious, toasty oak notes and a long spicy finish. Enjoy it with a grilled pork loin with provençal herbs or a vegetable crumble.
